Aura DVD Ripper for iPod is a DVD ripper and video converter. It allows you to convert either DVD movies on DVD disks or your hard drive, and video files into formats that are easily playable on the Apple iPod lineup. The application has quite a few conversion profiles, and some of those are for specific playback devices such as the iPod, iPhone, iPad, Apple TV, among others. Those profiles use the MPEG-4 format. There is also output support for MPG, AVI, WMV, MP4, MKV, and M2TS.
Once your DVD movie is loaded, all the titles will be listed on the screen. You can uncheck those that you don't want to convert. You can select what audio and subtitle track you want to use for your files from the bottom-right part of the screen, where the DVD options are. You can also set a start and end time, should you not want to convert the whole title.
There is also a YouTube video downloader in this application, which seemed to work very well in my testing. It downloaded videos quite fast from YouTube.com, but it can also be used for other video sharing websites.
